The parents have to manage their budgets, pay monthly installments for house, clear dues of so many things and fulfill the demands of the kids. Without sufficient funds, it is next to impossible to satisfy each and every need and demand of every family member.
Many times, parents go through tight financial conditions. But they never let their kids come to know about it. The kids just discuss their demands and have their ways but they never realize the hardships faced by the parents. Sometimes, they become thankless and ungrateful towards their parents. This can create problems later in life.

Teen Drinking and How To Handle It

As parents many of us go through a whole gambit of phases that our teenagers go through. It’s one of the toughest times of raising children, and it doesn’t matter whether its boys or girls. They each present their own special circumstances when it comes to getting through the teen years.
One of the issues that is most difficult for parents to have to deal with is alcohol and drugs. They are two separate issues though, and sometimes it may be one or the other that becomes a problem, or even both.
Dealing with the teen drinking issue has to be addressed as a problem of its own. The age will vary when it comes time for the young teen to start experimenting with it. How you handle it is going to be critical in the final outcome. That doesn’t mean to say that if the young person ends up with a drinking problem that its your fault. You do have to face the issue though, and your approach can have an impact.
Teenagers, and Yes You Can Survive Them

The world of teenagers is a scary place for them and for you as parents. It’s ironic that we so easily forget our teenage years, and how we were just so sure that we were right about everything.
One of the unfortunate circumstances that teens face is that they are categorized as an age group that has to be scrutinized, mistrusted and approached with caution. Unfortunately in the modern world we live in, a mistake made in the teen years can be so costly that it follows them the rest of their lives. As parents we are aware of this, and maybe perhaps have a over tendency to proceed in a far more protective manner, and this can actually push them to rebellion.
To start with really get to know your teen. If you feel confident that you know your youngster, you will feel more confident in knowing their strengths and weaknesses. If you feel that your young person has strong leadership qualities, then you will feel more at ease that they will make the right decisions. You will only be comfortable with this though when you understand their view points on major issues in life. If your teenager sees nothing wrong with drugs, then you have to be on your guard. Effective communication about the subject, before it becomes an issue that you have to deal with personally, may be beneficial.
